All my fellow fat girls who have to suffer the indignity of shopping at Lane Bryant are familiar with their "Right Size" jeans and the sizing system. I think the sizes go from 1-8. A couple of months ago at my peak weight, I bought a size Red 4 Average. Yesterday, I bought a size Red 3 Average. I don't know what normal size that translates to, but what's important is that it's SMALLER than the size I was wearing previously.
